Payment Policy, Donor Acknowledgment, and Tax Exemptions

This payment policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for the utilization of funds received by SarahFoundation, registered under Section 32 A of the Registration Act 1908, for its charitable objectives.
Utilization of Funds:
- Investment: The funds of SarahFoundation will be invested in accordance with Section 13(1)(d) read with Section 11(5) of the Income Tax Act 1961, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Utilization: Income and funds of the trust will be solely utilized towards the objects of the trust, as specified in its charter. No portion of the funds shall be utilized for the payment to trustees/members as defined under Section 13(1)(c) of the Income Tax Act 1961.
Acceptance of Donations:
- National and International Donations: SarahFoundation accepts donations from both national and international donors. Receipts will be provided for all donations received, in compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Donor Acknowledgment: Donors will receive acknowledgment and payment receipts for their contributions towards the charitable objectives of SarahFoundation.
Tax Exemptions:
Donors to SarahFoundation are eligible for tax exemptions under the following sections of the Income Tax Act:
- URN 12A: AANTS9417NE20215 (Valid from 2022-2027)
- URN 80G(5)(ii): AANTS9417NF20221 (Valid from 2022-2026)
